Moore County Bookmobile Policies and Schedule
The bookmobile follows an established schedule
Tuesday through Friday. Stops are scheduled at various sites, including
daycare centers, nursing homes, nutrition sites, shopping centers,
schools, retirement communities, and neighborhoods. Each stop is
visited every two weeks. Schedules for the bookmobile are available
below and at each library in the Moore County Library System.

Selection: We
have a wide selection of books; best sellers, large print, juvenile,
and adult. We also have books-on-tape
and select
periodicals.
Special Request: Patrons can reserve or request
books from the main library.
Renewals: Please call the library
(910.947.5335) to renew your books. Some titles and materials
cannot be renewed.
Routes/Schedule: The bookmobile operates a semiweekly
schedule. The schedule is subject to change due to variations
in the schedule of the Moore County Schools and fluctuations in
patronage.
Cancellations: Stops may be cancelled due to
holidays, mechanical difficulties, and inclement weather.
Weather: If the Moore County School buses are not in operation neither
is the Bookmobile.
