The Moore County Library would like to offer special thanks to Winston's Scoop & Deli in Carthage, Waldenbooks in Southern Pines, McDonald's in Carthage and Fred's in Carthage for their generous donations of prizes for our summer reading program. Their gifts helped the library to encourage our readers during those long, hot summer months! 2008 Summer Reading Workshop at ImaginOn!
On Thursday, March 6, 2008, SRLS Staff members attended a workshop at
ImaginOn! in
Charlotte, NC. The SR Workshop conducted sessions on Teen Programming, Book Talks, Simple Crafts & Activities, etc. SRLS Staff members that attended the workshop are:
Anson County: Phoebe Medlin, Donnie Lewis and Kit Brewer
Hoke County: Sheila Evans and Lynette Dial
Montgomery County: Linda Lamp and Dianne Saunders
Moore County: Stephen Zibrat
Richmond County: Jesse Gibson, Debbie Knight, Peggy Wilkes and Patsy Hardee
